...Back in the late 70's during some of the early Temple Party Drags we did wheelstand contests as well as burn-out contests. Later when way too many "amateurs" got to trying their luck at wheelstands we had to quit for some of those fools own safety. This was a shot of Robert Byers on a rigid frame panhead with his winning "wheelie" in 1979. Robert was one of the best hot rod Harley riders in Austin at the time...
